Privacy Policy
Star Squash, LLC (“Star Squash,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.starsquash.com or interact with us about a potential project, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit the proposal-request form on our site, email us, or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you choose to share — typically your name, club or facility name, email address, optional phone number, and any details you include about your project.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically receive certain technical information when you visit, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, the pages you view, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this information to operate the site, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate traffic patterns.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare a proposal
- To negotiate, deliver, and service any work you engage us for
- To send occasional, project-related communications (you can opt out at any time)
- To operate, secure, and improve the site
- To comply with applicable law
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use submissions for unsolicited marketing.
3. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the site or deliver projects (for example, email delivery via Resend, database hosting via Supabase, deployment via Vercel)
- Project partners when necessary to scope, design, or build your project (such as CGG Squash for manufacturing or subcontractors for installation), and only the information they need
- Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
4. Cookies and analytics
The site uses a minimal set of first-party cookies and may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time; the site will continue to work.
5. Data retention
We keep inquiry information for as long as is reasonably necessary to evaluate, respond to, and complete a potential or actual project, and afterward as required for tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping.
6. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of information about you, and to object to certain processing. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws, and residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, may have additional rights. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@starsquash.com.
8. Children
The site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
